KKK- EXTRA CREDIT

The KKK was formed after the American Civil War; it stands for Ku Klux Klan. There goal was to get rid of all the non whites in America. They were basically a hate group against blacks. After a while they started hating non-Christians. For example: Jews, Catholics, immigrants and other minority groups. They would torture, beat up, and sometimes even kill them. They were white robes and they believe in burning the cross. Once you think the Klan has ended, it rises back up again. Unfortunately, the KKK still exists today; it is more prominent in the South than it is in the North.
